Chat Programs You Can Use With EqNET Horse Chat

EqNET horse chat is compatible with all IRC (Internet Relay Chat) programs.  An IRC program is a completely separate chat program outside of your web browser.  These separate programs are great if you wish to stay in the chat for long periods of time, or if you like to surf the web while chatting.  They also work much better than Java, especially if your system has difficulty running Java programs.
